Corail Scanner is a mod that offers us the possibility of manufacturing a scanner or detector of blocks. With this mod installed, we can use the block detector to find any type of block we want, not just mineral resources.

To detect any block, we will first have to tell the scanner to look for that type of block. The interesting thing is that we can go beyond looking for diamonds or mineral resources, which we can also do. As we can find any block of the game, we can, for example, search for chests and find dungeons.
The action range of the scanner is fifty blocks around the position of our character. This scanner works by batteries. Once the scanner is made, we will place it in the character’s hand, press “Shift + right click” of the mouse and select the block we want to search. Once this is done, we will press right mouse button to start scanning.
How to start
with the crafting table : (you can use similar ingredients from others mods for the recipes)

craft a scanner
- the scanner only work in right hand
- you can change the target to search, by right-clicking a block while “sneaking”
- you need to hold right-click to scan the area in front of you (the angle of scan is 40 degrees)
slowly the scanner is discharged but can recharge it with a battery in the crafting table
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Corail Scanner Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Corail Scanner into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Corail Scanner into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
