With this mod installed we will be able to manufacture pipes that extract the contents of an inventory, and others that introduce it into an inventory. In addition, we can create object filters to define which objects we want to pass through the pipes and which ones do not. We can also color the pipes to easily identify a pipe system, another pipe system.
Get started on the mod
There are two blocks in the current version of the mod the Tube block and the Displacer block. The Tube block is rather self explanatory, but the Displacer is used to extract items and blocks from inventories in the game.
Now here we can see two displacers, one is a standard displacer, whilst the other one has a filter upgrade applied to it which allows you to define colours for items and blocks allowing you to route them to coloured tubes. The displacer extracts on a redstone pulse so either setup a time like above or use a lever or button to give a redstone signal.

The tubes can be coloured in order to route the items, the tubes are smart so items won’t be allowed to travel down the wrong route and they will always go to the nearest inventory that’s available to them.

Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Simple Tubes Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Simple Tubes into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
