Potion Bears is a mod that will allow us to manufacture static bears that will provide potion effects to the player who activates them. Sixteen variants of bears can be manufactured, each with a specific potion effect.

The operation is simple, depending on the type of wool that we use in the manufacturing process of one of these bears, we will obtain a bear with a potion effect or another. That is to say, what marks what bear we get and what effect of potion we get, is the color of the wool that we use in the manufacturing process.
Once our bear is made, we will still need to activate it. To activate a potion bear, we will have to place a diamond in our hand and press the right button of the mouse on the bear. After doing this, the bear will be activated and will provide potion effects. To know if a bear is activated, just look him in the eye. If they shine and have the color of the diamond, it is activated.
The bears can be crafted
The bear is activated when it starts glowing and the eyes turn into a diamond color
Each bear has a different Potion Effect. list of what bear does what
- White -> Speed
- Orange -> Fire Resistance
- Magenta -> Health Boost
- Light Blue -> Water Breathing
- Yellow -> Glowing
- Lime -> Instant Health
- Pink -> Luck
- Gray -> Invisibility
- Light Gray -> Levitation
- Cyan -> Regeneration
- Purple -> Strength
- Blue -> Jump Boost
- Brown -> Haste
- Green -> Hunger
- Red -> Absorption
- Black -> Wither
- Glass -> Removes all potion effects on the player
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Potion Bears Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Potion Bears into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Potion Bears into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
