Eternal Hearts is a themed textural package, which is inspired by the popular Square Enix saga, Kingdom Hearts. There are actually multiple different resource packs that are based on the Kingdom Hearts franchise, but Eternal Hearts definitely seems to be one of the better quality options among all of these. According to its own creator, it is a package of semi-realistic textures.The ones that are not familiar with Kingdom Hearts will still enjoy the resource pack since it adds plenty of new elements that can be used to build an RPG map
As soon as we start using their textures to build, we will quickly appreciate their style similar to the Kingdom Hearts universe, especially for their swords and armors, but also with other elements. The textures used are much more detailed and stand out when compared to regular Minecraft blocks. The level of detail in the pack’s textures is astounding, but perhaps the most impressive thing about it is the fact that the textures are completely free of noise and look incredibly clean, but these darker colors are good for the pack because they work quite nicely along with the semi-realistic medieval art-style that conveys throughout the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
It is a textures package with a resolution of 64x, This does increase CPU load thus it might run a bit sluggish on older computers but the improvement for the visuals makes it one of the better resource packs released. So we will need to install Optifine to take advantage of the full potential of its textures, while trying to minimize that the increase in resolution affects the performance of the game.
How to install Resource Pack:
Download a Eternal Hearts Resource pack, you should get a .zip file
Open the folder to which you downloaded the file
Copy the .zip file
Windows
Press ⊞ Windows + R then type in: %appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks
Paste the file into the directory
Open Minecraft
Go to “Options”, then “Resource Packs”
The resource pack should now be listed and you can activate it by choosing it and hitting “Done”.
Mac OS X
Do NOT unzip the resource pack just move the .zip file to minecraft’s resource pack folder (Should be at ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks)
Open up Minecraft and login to your account
At the main menu select “Options”, then “Resource Packs”
Now select your new resource pack and then select done
To access ~/Library/ on a Mac running Mac OS X 10.7 and above, switch to Finder, open the ‘Go’ Menu, and while holding down ⌥ Option, select ‘Library’
