After designing Continuum Shaderpack, high quality shaders for the most powerful computers, the Continuum Graphics team raises the bar to a more accessible level. With Ebin Shaders Mods, players with machines with more modest performance can also afford the luxury of playing a Minecraft graphics completely renewed.
Like their predecessors, Ebin Shaders find their sources in SEUS, which they deserve to make accessible. This is also their main strength: making shaders accessible to all while maintaining a high requirement for graphic quality. The key word of their developers was therefore simple: optimization. Optimization in each line of code, carefully scanned, in each effect, tweaked to achieve the desired result. We feel BruceKnowsHow and dotModded’s approach a requirement, even more than a desire to do well.
Where some tend to saturate the natural light, at the risk of creating an impression of eternal summer, the Ebin Shaders skillfully dose this variable. Also, despite a sky often sparse, the Sun will not be blinding. Shadows are also reworked at all scales: in addition to adding a shadow to the blocks dependent on surrounding light sources, the more massive structures also see their shadows changed. If you are under a huge stone cornice, for example, you will not be in the dark if it is very late or very early. As you can see, the brightness is no longer determined block by block. Finally, the water is also a new skin, taking advantage of multiple effects: reflection, undulation of its surface, clarity … So many steps towards a certain realism.

How to install:
Download the mod and install Optifine. Then find your .minecraft file:
Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, press Windows + R key. Then type% appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you do not see it, activate hidden folders with the CTRL + H combination.
Mac: Your minecraft folder is in User> Library> Application Support.
If you can not find Application Support, do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.
Create a folder shaderpacks (without capital) and drag in this newly created folder the subfolder “shaders” in the folder you just downloaded. Then, compress it in .zip.
Launch the game with your Optifine profile. In the video options, go to Shaders and select the shaders of your choice. Finally, check that “Old Lighting” is on “On” or “Default”. You can then adjust the options of your shaders in more detail via the icon at the bottom right of the window.
