Crystal in real life is a fragile material that can only be used as home decor. But in the fantasy world, it is a type of resource that contains magical powers. The same thing can be told about Crystal of the Crystal Caves mod. Tools made from Crystals are less durable than iron, but they can dig up the same resources that metal tools can do. Not only that, similar to Golden Tools, Crystal Tools can also receive many good upgrades once enchanted.
The major advantage of Crystal tools is that when you replace stick with bones during the crafting process, you can get more advanced tools than using sticks. Bones tools are more durable than iron, and they also possess Golden Tools’ attributes when enchanted. You can also use Crystal to build Crystal Block and Crystal Glass for constructions and use Silk Touch Pickaxe to dig Raw Crystal.

How to install:
Start by downloading Forge Installer, CrystalCaves1.11.2.jar . Once this is done, open it and click Install Client.
Launch Minecraft and select the Forge profile. Enter your credentials again and click Play to complete the installation of Forge.
Then find your .minecraft folder:
Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, press Windows + R key. Then type% appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you do not see it, activate hidden folders with the CTRL + H combination.
Mac: Your minecraft folder is in User> Library> Application Support.
If you can not find Application Support, do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.
Then drag the .jar from your previously downloaded mod into the mods folder, which is in your .minecraft.
