Playful Modern Resource Pack 1.12

Modern resource packs are not really among the most popular. Indeed, it is much more common to find packs designed to reproduce a medieval look, or to remain faithful to the basic game. Playful Modern will bring a modern look, while sprinkling a visual Japanese look that we find at times.

Among the textures of modern inspiration, include the workbench, the oven and objects called “utilitarian” in general, which lend themselves to such a style. But Playful Modern also allows itself some fantasies which remain in this optics, since some hostile mobs adorn themselves with contemporary clothes. The zombie pigs become bouncers, while the Ghasts become rock stars, a guitar noise replacing their screams. You can also dress in rugby with diamond armor, or a fisherman / trapper with leather armor.

The Japanese style of Playful Modern is found in some blocks of glass, some with the appearance of screens. In the same way, certain foods are part of such an atmosphere, like the spider’s eyes become fantasy candies.

In addition, the Playful Modern does not go too far from default textures, especially those of the most common blocks, the land at the top of the list. This feature makes it an ideal choice for a default player or Faithful resource packs, but want to add a whimsical twist.
