Imaginary Mods 1.12/1.11.2

It can be quickly boring to use the default tables of Minecraft or be limited to those proposed by the creators of Resource Packs. With Imaginary mods, you can decorate any surface with your own images. And where this McHorse mod takes all its interest, it is that it applies the images directly to the wall, without frame or without canvas to imprison them. The transparent properties of the imported images are thus respected, allowing for example to create tags on walls, as will be seen below.

New File Imaginary 1.0.3 (for 1.10.2).jar
Release Type Release
Manager McHorse
Created Jan 12, 2017
Update Sep 17, 2017
Support 1.12

The mod supports all formats that Minecraft supports for textures (PNG, JPEG, and GIF).

How does Imaginary work?

To begin, you will need to select images that you want to insert in your world. You can access it by going to the folder:
.minecraft / config / imaginary / pictures.

Do not forget that only PNG, JPEG and GIF formats are accepted. Once the images in the folder, it will be necessary to craft the frame Imaginary, like this:

Then place the frame on the surface you want to decorate with your image:

Then just right-click on the frame to open the Imaginary interface:

At the bottom left, select Pick Picture and choose the image you have dragged to your front folder. For my part I chose a graffiti to give an urban side to my wall.

Now that the image is in place, you can edit the image’s top right. The Keep Aspect size will always keep the same shape if you enlarge it by adjusting the width and height. If you click on it, Custom Size will appear and you can configure the height and width as you like. (Caution, because it can distort the image). Prefer Keep Aspect to keep the proportions and deformations.

For my example, I will set the height of my tag to 10 so that it is much bigger. Then in Shifting, you can move the image up, right, left, down, etc. This will help frame the image where you want to put it. For my part, having made a big wall, I will leave everything to zero.

To delete the image, it will be necessary to make a right click on the place where you left the imaginary frame. So remember to remember where you put it!

How to install:

Start by downloading Forge Installer, Imaginary 1.0.3 (for 1.10.2).jar . Once this is done, open it and click Install Client.
Launch Minecraft and select the Forge profile. Enter your credentials again and click Play to complete the installation of Forge.
Then find your .minecraft folder:
Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, press Windows + R key. Then type% appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you do not see it, activate hidden folders with the CTRL + H combination.
Mac:  Your minecraft folder is in User> Library> Application Support.
If you can not find Application Support, do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.

Then drag the .jar from your previously downloaded mod into the mods folder, which is in your .minecraft.
Start the game, and have fun!
