Getting started with the More Vanilla Armors Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2. You think there is too little armor in Minecraft Vanilla? Actually, it’s not just you, as many other Minecraft players in the world also share the same thought. The number of Minecraft armor is quite limited, and there are only four types of armor: leather, iron, gold and diamond. Mojang wants to keep the number of armor small in order to facilitate the balance of the stats. If there are so many different types of armor, the player will most likely skip over low-tier armors to reach to higher level armor which could be easier to get, causing many armor types to be forgotten.

But some players are looking forward to having more variety of armor to choose from. Why? Because they want to have fun, they don’t want to be restricted into the framework that Minecraft offers them. They want to craft armors from any material, maybe for fun or for any other reasons.
More Vanilla Armors give players what many have been expecting from Mojang: a lot of new armor types which have their own unique stats using the materials available in Minecraft Vanilla. From raw materials such as Grass, Stone, Leaf, Dirt to…something even more ridiculous like Bedrock, Cactus, Coal, End Stone, … You can create any armor you want!
More Vanilla Armors requires Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft 1.11.2, 1.10.2, 1.9.4.
How to install:
- Download Forge Installer, MoreVanillaArmors(v 0.9.3)[1.9.4 & 1.10.2] file.
- Right click Forge Installer, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you’ve installed Minecraft Forge)
- Open Start on desktop > Open Run (Or you can use the Windows + R keyboard shortcut)
- Type %appdata% into Run and press enter.
- Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
- Put jar file of the mod you have downloaded into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
