Fantastic Beasts and How to Eat Them Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2 (Butchercraft) is a Minecraft mod named after the famous spin-off movie of the Harry Potter series: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. However, the content of this mod has nothing to do with the famous film. Fantastic Beasts and How to Eat Them is a mod related to harvesting meat from nature in Minecraft. Now players will have the method to get the most meat from animals in Minecraft, and maybe some skins too!

In Minecraft, players must hunt animals in the wild to get meat and process them to be edible. Food is critical in the Minecraft world because it is a survival game. Every action in the game, even Regeneration, consumes Hunger Points, and in order to recover the lost Hunger Points, the player must eat properly.
However, harvesting meat from animals in Minecraft is too simple and doesn’t give much. With this mod, players can craft a Butcher Knife. Butcher Knife can kill animals with a single slash, but instead of dropping off meat, players can receive fresh corpses. Using Meat Hook, players can hang the bodies and start collecting meat, skin, and viscera. From whatever collected, players can use Meat Grinder to make food like sausages and burgers. Players can also grill using coal and grill without the need of Furnace.
Fantastic Beasts and How to Eat Them requires Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft 1.11.2.
How to install:
- Download Forge Installer, butchercraft-1.0.jar file.
- Right click Forge Installer, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you’ve installed Minecraft Forge)
- Open Start on desktop > Open Run (Or you can use the Windows + R keyboard shortcut)
- Type %appdata% into Run and press enter.
- Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
- Put jar file of the mod you have downloaded into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
