Totem Expansion is a mod that will allow us to manufacture up to six new totems, each of a different color, which will bring new, interesting, skills to our Minecraft character. We can get fragments of totems in two ways, eliminating enemies, or directly making the totems on the crafting table.

When we have a certain number of fragments of totems, we can go to a village in search of a new villager, added by this mod, which is named, Taron.This new villager will allow us to make exchanges and get totems of skills.
Some of the skills of these totems are: saving ourselves by drowning, saving ourselves by falling in the lava, repairing the tool after breaking, detecting minerals, saving ourselves from explosions and saving ourselves by dying by falling.
Totems:
Totem of Undying
Vanilla’s totem, will save you from death.
Totem of Ascending
Will save you from a fatal fall or falling into the void
Totem of Smouldering
Will save you if you fall into lava
Totem of Breathing
Saves you from the depths
Totem of Defusing
Defuses and explosions you are involved in
Totem of Repairing
Repairs a broken tool after it breaks
Totem of Spelunking
Detects ores around the player
Totems crafted
Totem base
Hostile mobs will sometimes drop “Totem heads” than can then be applied to the base.
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Totem Expansion Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Totem Expansion into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Totem Expansion into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
