Storyblock is a texture pack that will give your Minecraft games a storybook or cartoon touch. The textures provided by this package have well-defined details, thanks to its high resolution of 128x. On the other hand, their colors are very saturated, so we will have a strong color contrast, with very colorful elements.
This pack will make you feel like you are in another world that has a really warm, cozy and happy feelings. Textures for grass and flowers look so unique and cartoonish which make this pack look so cozy. Wood look a bit darker than usual, when you build a house with wood, plank or whatever will make it looks warm, home sweet home! This pack is still in progress, but all the textures for normal world are done, but for End world still remains, some mobs, armor, paintings, and most of the GUI as well.
Although their textures have an aspect of cartoon or storybook, the textures of this package have a resolution far superior to the textures predefined in the game, so we need external tools such as Optifine to optimize the negative difference in terms of performance that can produce textures of so much resolution. How to install Resource Pack
Download a resource pack, you should get a .zip file
Open the folder to which you downloaded the file
Copy the .zip file
Windows
Press Windows + R then type in: %appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks
Paste the file into the directory
Open Minecraft
Go to “Options”, then “Resource Packs”
The resource pack should now be listed and you can activate it by choosing it and hitting “Done”.
Mac OS X
Do NOT unzip the resource pack just move the .zip file to minecraft’s resource pack folder (Should be at ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks)
Open up Minecraft and login to your account
At the main menu select “Options”, then “Resource Packs”
Now select your new resource pack and then select done
To access ~/Library/ on a Mac running Mac OS X 10.7 and above, switch to Finder, open the ‘Go’ Menu, and while holding down Option, select ‘Library’
