Lights ‘n Lures is a mod that will allow us to manufacture four new types of lights and four types of decoys. With the lures we can attract or remove entities from the lure and with the lamps, basically illuminate around them.

In terms of light, we can create two lamps that work with a redstone signal, a lamp that becomes invisible when receiving a redstone signal and a lamp that works only when you press the right mouse button on it. While the decoys will allow us to attract animals, such as pigs, cows and sheep, or remove any entity, either an animal or a monster.
Lights
This mod adds 4 new lighting options for cosmetic purposes. Each light is a different color to allow easy distinction between them.
- Redstone LEB (Light Emitting Block): An alternative to Redstone Lamps.
- Dim Redstone LEB: A Redstone LEB whose brightness depends on the analog redstone strength.
- Powered Redstone LEB: A Redstone LEB that does not require a redstone signal, and can be toggled via right clicking.
- Invisible Redstone LEB: A Redstone LEB that is invisible when powered, but still emits light.
Lures
This mod adds 4 lure objects that affect nearby mobs. Range is equal to 1/2 the inputted analog redstone strength.
- Sheep / Pig / Cow Light: Attract their respective mob.
- Scare Crow: All instances of EntityCreature will run away from this light. This includes most passive and hostile mobs.

Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Nether Overload Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Lights ‘n Lures into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Lights ‘n Lures into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
