Binnie’s is a mod that groups the content of what were formerly four separate mods, which are Extra Bees, Extra Trees, Botany and Genetics. The content of this mod is designed to expand the possibilities of the Forestry mod, so we will also have to install it.

With this mod installed we will find a large amount of content, such as 127 new species of bees, as well as objects that will allow us to make mutations, breeding and various objects to improve the production of bees.
The mod also adds a total of 96 new tree variants, 46 new species of flowers, which will allow us to develop up to 80 new dyes, and various machines and systems to bring the production of bees, flowers and trees to another new level, manipulating the genetics and isolating genes to achieve more efficient genomes.
Extra Bees
Extra Bees expands upon the bee breeding of Forestry by adding 107 new bee species to forestry. These bees cover a large spectrum of different effects and products, giving you the ability to produce everything from dyes to rare metal dusts purely from bees. It also adds the Apiarist Database, a tool to keep track of discovered species, mutations and traits. There are also new alveary components which help improve and streamline bee production
Extra Trees
xtra Trees is a Minecraft mod which expands the treebreeding aspect of Forestry by adding new tree species and aesthetic blocks based on wood. It was the second mod released by Binnie, and one of the two current mods in Binnie’s Mods.
Genetics
Genetics is a newly released Minecraft mod which revamps the existing genetic engineering system in Extra Bees. In the new system, genes from bees, trees, butterflies and flowers can be isolated and sequenced, at which point they are added to the player’s gene database. The player can then fill serums with multiple discovered genes and use them to add new genes to individuals.
Botany
otany add the ability to breed flowers by growing and maintaining a garden. This includes vanilla flowers as well as 36 new flowers. Each flower has several traits, including one of 80 different colours, which can be bred and mixed to give 80 coloured pigments. These pigments can be used to dye glass and ceramic tiles, both of which can be patterened to give millions of tile combinations.
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Binnie’s Mods and save it to your desktop.
Download Forestry Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Binnie’s Mods and Forestry into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Binnie’s Mods and Forestry into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
