Ability Stones 2 offers us the possibility of manufacturing magic stones capable of producing altered states, unlimited potion effects and granting new abilities to those players who carry them in the inventory of their character. These effects and abilities will have a duration, in its basic state, of three minutes. If we combine effects and skills we can increase the duration of the stones.

To create these magical stones, the first thing we have to do is go to the mines in search of a new mineral, similar in appearance to Redstone, which contains magical powders. Next we will create an object called “Ability Infuser”, to immediately create a “Mundane Stone”. Now, using the Ability Infuser we will mix the magic dust extracted from the mines with the Mundane Stone, to create the magical stones.
Getting Started
To begin, you’ll need to go out into the world and start mining for a special magical dust! This magical dust is a key component to activating the abilities within the stones!
Once you’ve got yourself a good amount of dust, you’ll want to go ahead and create your first Ability Infuser. This is the entrypoint in creating your own ability stones!
The next component you’ll need is a mundane stone. This is the core piece!
We’re almost ready to make our first Ability Stone! Now all we need is the effect specific ingredient to apply to our stone. For this example, let’s create a Regeneration stone. This requires a Regeneration II potion.
Pop in your components into the Ability Infuser – all infusions involving the basic infuser will cost 6 magical dust.
Congratulations, you’ve created your first Ability Stone. All Ability Stones created with the basic infuser will last 3 active minutes, with the remaining time displayed in the tooltip.
But that’s not where it ends! The mod also features an Advanced Ability Infuser, which gives you the ability to create Adept Ability Stones. These adept stones have additional abilities not available through the basic infuser, can combine multiple abilities on one single stone, and allows for the use time to be increased!
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Ability Stones 2 Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Ability Stones 2 into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ?-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Ability Stones 2 into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
