Ranged Pumps is a mod that adds a single object to the game, a fluid and fluid extraction pump that will allow us to suck fluids and liquids that are just below the pump, replacing the liquid or fluid by stone, so that it will be very useful if we want to clear an area of water, lava or any other liquid or fluid.

Each of these extractor pumps has a radius of action of 64 blocks around, and will begin to suck for the nearest blocks. The pump works without a Redstone signal, so if it receives a Redstone signal the pump will stop working. Each pump can store a maximum of 32 cubes inside, if the pump is full it will stop working.
Explanation
Place the pump down, and it’ll work WITHOUT a redstone signal.
If you give the pump a redstone signal, it will stop working until you disable the redstone signal.
By default, the pump requires Forge Energy, but can be configured to not use energy in the config.
The size of the pump’s internal tank is by default 32 buckets, you can increase or decrease this in the config.
The pump will stop running if the internal tank is full.
Right click on the pump to know what it is doing and if it is running.
It’ll start pumping liquids in rectangular spiral shape 1 block under the pump.
The default range is 64 blocks, that’ll mean it scan 64 blocks in any direction, nearest-first.
The pump will also replace any liquids to stone by default. This can be turned off in the config.
The pump WILL auto-push liquids to neighboring tanks. You can also get the liquids out with pipes, obviously.
The mod doesn’t chunkload pumps.
Crafting
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Ranged Pumps Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Ranged Pumps into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ⌘-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Ranged Pumps into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
