Compact Storage offers the option to customize one of the most used objects of the game, the Minecraft chest. With this mod we can create a block called “Builder”, which in addition to allowing us to manufacture these new chests, will indicate the materials we need to create the type of chest we want or need. That is, it will tell us the materials needed to create a X color box and X storage capacity.

Double Backpack
The Double Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Double Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 54 available slots.

Sextuple Backpack

Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Compact Storage Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Compact Storage into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ⌘-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Compact Storage into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
