Compact Machines is a technological type mod, which will allow us a simple and useful way to gain space and separate systems and machines, from the rest of the world, literally. With this mod installed we can create rooms or rooms contained within a block. That is, create a block that takes us to a room or room sealed, isolated from the rest of the world. This is really useful to create or save things away from the eyes of other players, as these rooms and rooms represent new dimensions.

Although it will not be as simple as creating a machine that accesses a room and start building things in there. Before we will have to build things out, turn them into miniature, and then place them inside the room or room created by each machine. In fact, even the rooms will have to create them in the normal world and later turn them into miniature, that is, in a block or machine that gives access to that room.
Your first room
Craft yourself a compact machine
Right click it with a “Personal Shrinking Device”
Use the interfaces in the walls to access the buffers
Right click again to leave the block.

Compact Machines, 6 sizes
Surround a World Resizing Cube with one of the following materials:
- Wood gives you a 3x3x3 room
- Iron, 5x5x5
- Gold, 7x7x7
- Obsidian, 9x9x9
- Diamond, 11x11x11
- Nether Star, 13x13x13
Personal Shrinking Device
Required to enter/leave a block. Don’t lose yours while you are working inside of a machine or you might get trapped.
Quantum Entangler
Use it to link two machines to the same room. They share the same content and buffers. Both machines must be upgraded with a netherstar and must be of the same size. You cannot entangle two used machines, i.e. the target machine must never have been entered before
Stuff only required for crafting
You only need these to craft the two things above.

Other random features
You can upgrade your Compact Machines using a Nether Star.
Upgraded machines do not lose their contents and can be placed down again.
Not upgraded machines drop their content – you might lose stuff though, be warned.
Interfaces/Machines can automatically export their contents
You can configure this using the interface block GUI.
The machines interior is automatically chunkloaded
Manual Install Instructions
Download Forge above.
Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
Download Nature’s Compass Mods and save it to your desktop.
Windows
Press this button combination: Windows+R
In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
Open the .minecraft folder.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Nature’s Compass into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS
Press this button combination: ⌘-Shift-G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.
Locate the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
Drag Nature’s Compass into the mods folder. If given the opportunity, do not extract them.
