If you’ve ever had the opportunity to play Dishonored, you’ve probably been marked by the environment’s design, dark and with a steampunk vibe. The game itself received an insane amount of critical acclaim when it came out which is primarily thanks to how well constructed it is, and the same can actually be said for this pack as well. This atmosphere, Corridor5 tries to restore it in Minecraft with a Resource Pack of the same name.
Before going into any significant details about the Dishonored resource pack, we’d like to point out that there’s a good chance of you not liking this pack if you don’t enjoy the art style of Dishonored. Mixing medieval and futuristic atmospheres, Dishonored adorns the “classic” building blocks (wood, stone and derivatives) with textures approaching the first style while the more “secondary” building blocks (colored clay), tackle more modern colors. Similarly, all blocks with GUI, from the chest to the craft table through the dispenser, have futuristic airs.
The textures of this pack carry a resolution of 16×16 which don’t really do the actual Dishonored game any major justice, but the low resolution does mean that you’ll be able to run this pack smoothly, even on a low-end computer. The colored windows, whose variety might seem useless, are completely modified. Indeed, each of the different models has a new texture: air vent, stained glass, various decorations … What give a little atmosphere to your maps, in addition to the tables that take the spirit of the game.
