Imagine fishing in Minecraft if you replace the water with lava. A rather impromptu idea, since soaking his line in a hot and viscous liquid is not the first reflex of a fisherman with a minimum of instinct of survival and respect for his equipment, but exploited by TheIllusiveC4. The Golden Rod
The Golden Rod can do the same thing as a fishing rod, except that you can also fish in the lava. It also has better durability and its enchantment is increased.
To craft the Golden Rod, it will be necessary to gather 3 bars of gold as well as a new component which is the magma string.

Combustive Cod
This is a new species of fish found only in the Nether lava lakes. This fish is too hot to eat but has an interesting feature as a weapon. Indeed, if you launch it, it will explode in contact with the target or the ground. Handle with caution.
But if you ever had to eat, know that if you throw the fish in a pool of water, it will cool spontaneously and you can eat it.
Fishing in the lava
If you fish in the lava, you will find mainly Combustive Cods, but also unnecessary waste that will fill your inventory and, if you are lucky, treasure.
If you use the Golden Rod in the normal world, an interesting feature is that if you fish for a fish, it will be automatically cooked and will save you a lot of time to stock up on food.

How to install:
Start by downloading Forge Installer, combustfish-1.12.2-1.0.2.jar . Once this is done, open it and click Install Client.
Launch Minecraft and select the Forge profile. Enter your credentials again and click Play to complete the installation of Forge.
Then find your .minecraft folder:
Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, press Windows + R key. Then type% appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you do not see it, activate hidden folders with the CTRL + H combination.
Mac: Your minecraft folder is in User> Library> Application Support.
If you can not find Application Support, do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.
Then drag the .jar from your previously downloaded mod into the mods folder, which is in your .minecraft.
Start the game, and have fun!
