The Minecraft Update 1.9 has triggered a major debate around the major change that is the fight in Minecraft. WildBamaBoy, creator of the famous mod Minecraft Comes Alive has decided. For him, it is impossible to play Minecraft without the old combat system. He could not stand playing Minecraft 1.9 and having to manage his attacks to do the maximum damage. So he decided to get rid of this problem by developing a mod. By installing Classic Combat, you will find the old features of the combat system before the 1.9 while retaining the other additions of this version.

What has changed :
There is no time for attack recharge. You will always be able to hit with the attack value of the weapon you are using, no matter how long you have been using it.
What has not changed:
The swing chart is always displayed during the attack.
The damage of “hearts” drops when something is attacked.
You can always be ambidextrous.
You can use shields.
Your cooldown indicator will still be present, but it has no effect.
How to install:
Start by downloading Forge Installer, ClassicCombat-1.12.x-1.0.0-universal.jar . Once this is done, open it and click Install Client.
Launch Minecraft and select the Forge profile. Enter your credentials again and click Play to complete the installation of Forge.
Then find your .minecraft folder:
Windows: Go to the Start menu, then go to Run. Otherwise, press Windows + R key. Then type% appdata% in the search bar, then go to the .minecraft folder.
Linux: Press ALT + F2 at the same time. You should normally have your .minecraft.
If you do not see it, activate hidden folders with the CTRL + H combination.
Mac: Your minecraft folder is in User> Library> Application Support.
If you can not find Application Support, do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.
Then drag the .jar from your previously downloaded mod into the mods folder, which is in your .minecraft.
Start the game, and have fun!
