If fishing is a chore for you, here is a mod that is clearly cheating but will save you time by automating the fishing system.
As its name implies, Autofish is a mod that makes fishing automatic, that is to say that your fishing rod will get out the fish and get back to fishing automatically, simply. You are free to do what you want (Internet, AFK, drink a coffee …) while your character will automatically perform the annoying job of fishing. Super, no? And in addition, it works in multi! However, before using it on a server, it is strongly recommended to ask if this kind of mod is allowed.
By the way, you can enable or disable this option in the mod menu by pressing the V key (default) . You can also activate the option “Multirod” , which will switch the used fishing rod of your hotbar for a new fishing rod in your inventory if there is one! The best is obviously to have a fishing rod with unbreakable enchantment so that it is unbreakable.
Usage
• Configurable key (V by default) to open a GUI for changing individual settings.
• Very simple to use, just cast the fishing rod into the water once, and it will automatically reel in at the correct time and recast after a couple second wait.
• Enable Autofish – Toggles the entire mod on or off.
• Enable MultiRod – After using up a rod, it will try to auto switch to the next one in your hotbar if it exists, so you can fish for extended periods of time with multiple rods. (Switches to the first rod in your hotbar after each reel)
• Stop fishing before rods break – Ignores fishing rods once they are almost broken. This is useful if you have an enchanted fishing rod and you don’t want it to break.
How to install:
- This mod requires LiteLoader. Install it first.
- Download Autofish and place the .litemod file in the /.minecraft/mods/ folder. Do not change the extension from .litemod or it will not load.
- Launch Minecraft using the LiteLoader profile.
