Traverse Mods 1.12.2/1.12.1

If the 1.11 was supposed to restore the exploration in Minecraft its nobility, it is clear that Minecraft does not shine exactly by the variety of its biomes. That said, many mods brilliantly overcome this problem by adding biomes to the shovel. Traverse is one of them. And if the niche is already occupied by many famous mods, why present this ProfessorProspector mod? The reasons are not lacking. The most obvious, and perhaps the one that made you click on this article, is that it is available in the most recent versions of Minecraft, where the developers of Realistic Terrain Generation have been promising for months day in 1.11 that does not happen.

In addition, Traverse, far from being apart in the family of mods-biomes, is inspired by his classmates to offer the best in biomes. Also, you will find jumble ideas of Extra Biomes or Highlands, while finally presenting a reasonable number of biomes, which are 17 in number. From glaciers to forest variations through the marshes, they are realistic, do not detonate, but offer quite interesting exploration possibilities.

Here is the list of biomes:

  • The autumn forest.
  • Mini Jungle – Miniature biome without the 2 × 2 jungle trees. The biome is quite hilly and watery.
  • Forest – Biome with trees of varying sizes, as well as shrubs.
  • Meadow – Biome flat and lush, covered with flowers and tall grass.
  • Marsh – Similar to existing swamps, however, this biome has larger trees.
  • Red Desert – A normal desert, but with red sand.
  • Temperate rainforest – Possesses densely packed firs in a highly variable landscape.
  • Badlands – Dry plains with rocks and stone slabs covering part of the surface.
  • Mountain Desert – Large mountain desert made up mainly of rock
  • Rocky Plateau – High meadow area with scattered trees and rocks.
  • Fortified forests – Forest with a high mountain terrain.
  • Birch forest – Birch forest with high mountain terrain.
  • Mountain Autumn Forest – Autumn Forest with a lot of rolling hills.
  • Cliffs – High mountains of stone, usually with huge vertical stone slopes, ending in a flat roof.
  • Glacier – icy hills topped with snow.
  • Glacier Peaks – A biome with ice peaks.
