In terms of resource packs, the term “realism” is polysemic and refers to several different styles tending towards the same objective. Cubed Realism takes the effort further and gives meaning to this quest for realism, which it applies to architecture.
To be more precise, Cubed Realism is defined as hyper-realistic, and rightly so. Not only because of its resolution ranging from 32x to 256x, but especially for its style. At once modern and soberly colored, it is specifically designed for contemporary constructions. As such, it lends itself particularly well to visits to megacities. The building blocks become concrete, brick, plaster, and as many materials that will be particularly valuable for building contemporary buildings. To go further, some little-used blocks, such as ores, expand the palette of blocks made available to Minecraft architects.
In fact, more than a simple Resource Pack, Cubed Realism stands out as a real tool, in that it offers builders a unique range of building blocks, skilfully blending realism and modernism. To these two key components, however, we can not omit this particular atmosphere, almost post-apocalyptic. As if the cities from this pack were destined to be uninhabited, sorry … This impression is reinforced by the color scheme of the Resource Pack, rather dark, but also more specifically by the natural blocks, whose hues draw on the brown.
