Getting started with the Energy Converters Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2 for Minecraft. If you’ve ever tried many of Minecraft’s mod packs, you’ve probably encountered a fairly common problem: you have a large amount of a certain type of energy, but the machines you need cannot run on that power. Such problem is a major annoyance for new Minecraft players, especially when a lot of different types of energy are introduced, such as Industrial Craft‘s EU or Redstone Flux RF.

Mod pack is a popular play style in the Minecraft community today. There are many types of mod packs. Some mod packs are about RPG/Fantasy theme, while some others are hardcore mods that are made to test the player’s skills. There are also mod packs that focus on nothing but giving players as many bizarre items as possible. The most popular mod pack style is Science mod pack. This kind of mod packs gives players a sense of satisfaction when it comes to creating a working automated machine or when discovering something new.
But when so many scientific mods come together to form a mod pack, there would be many ways for players to do one thing and of course, there will be so many different energy units to use. It would be unfair for a player who is new to scientific mod pack to waste time building one generator, and then later realize that the generator doesn’t produce the type of energy that he needs. Energy Converters provide players with three blocks: Energy Consumer can receive any kind of electricity, Energy Producer can create any kind of power, and Energy Bridge can support 6 Consumer / Producer at the same time! The types of energy currently supported are RF, IC2, and Tesla.
Energy Converters requires Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft 1.11.2, 1.10.2.
Energy Converters currently supports:
- Redstone Flux (RF)
- IC2 EU (Lv, Mv, Hv, Ev, Iv)
- Tesla
- Forge Energy (FE)
- Special support for TechReborn (1.10.2 only, not needed in 1.11.2 since TR improved its FE support)
The conversion rate is currently 1 Eu: 4 RF: 4 Tesla. A configuration option will follow in a future release.
Crafting Recipe:
Energy Bridge
IC2 Energy Producer (LV in this case, just replace the Transformer with any other transformer for its corresponding tier)
To get the Energy Consumer, just put any producer into a crafting grid and you get the corresponding consumer.
