This addon transforms some land mobs in Minecraft into different fish which live in the water. It’s the first time that we see land mobs turned into fully functional water mobs, and it’s all thanks to new add-on features which was introduced in Version 1.1 for Minecraft PE. It allows for the possibility to change a mob’s movement behaviors.
How does it work?
There are four types of fish, but since they replace ordinary mobs, they will not spawn naturally in the water. You will have to move them there or use spawn eggs for spawning them there. A fish will suffocate and die if it’s on land for too long.
- Fish (Cow)
- Salmon (Mushroom)
- Pufferfish (Creeper)
- Nemo (Pig)
This is the first time that land mobs are turned into water mobs (at least for add-ons) and it’s using new add-on features which were introduced in version 1.1 for Minecraft PE. One of them is navigation: swim, and some other behaviors like the movement style is copied from the Guardian mob.
You can kill fish and then eat it. However, you can’t use a fishing rod to catch them yet.
Ocelots love to fish and will chase them and kill them.
