Crossbows Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2 for Minecraft adds (at the moment) 5 new crossbows and 9 new bolts. Each crossbow is able to fire bolts made of the same material or less valuable material. Iron and Diamond crossbows are also able to shoot the special bolts – flame, explosive, teleport and spectral – however, this could change depending on feedback. Bolts are fairly simple to construct: just a stick and the material that you want it to be.

If you are sick of the bow made out of strings and wood, then try Crossbows mod! With 15 types of crossbows and 9 dedicated types of arrows, you are free to choose your perfect weapon that suits your needs and budget.
The characteristics of these crossbows are that they can be used to fire arrows crafted from materials of equal or lower level than the crossbow’s material. You can quickly craft these arrows by putting the materials and stick into the crafting window. As the crafting recipe only requires two types of materials so you can make arrows any time using the crafting window of the inventory.
With the most recent update, Crossbows can also be upgraded with specialist upgrades. At the moment there are 4 upgrades: Scope, Auto Reload, Reinforced Limbs and Tri-Shot.

How to install:
- Download Forge Installer, success Crossbows-Mod-1.11.2.jar file.
- Right click Forge Installer, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you’ve installed Minecraft Forge)
- Open Start on desktop > Open Run (Or you can use the Windows + R keyboard shortcut)
- Type %appdata% into Run and press enter.
- Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
- Put jar file of the mod you have downloaded into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
